Whilst on the Bar Vocational Course, he acted for a client before the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal in a dispute concerning service charges.

Public

Christopher has a burgeoning practice in mental health law, acting for applicants before the Mental Health Review Tribunals and Hospital Managers’ hearings, including for restricted patients.

Prior to commencing pupillage, Christopher worked at a busy solicitors’ firm in South London, specialising in family law. The work included representing clients at directions and ex parte hearings.

Christopher also accepts work in immigration and housing cases.

Christopher both defends and prosecutes, receiving instructions from defence solicitors, the CPS, the Probation Service and G4S. He appears in both the Magistrates’ and Crown Courts, including the Youth Court, for all manner of offences.

Before joining the Bar, Christopher worked as a paralegal to a silk at the Baha Mousa Public Inquiry, as a paralegal in the family practice of a solicitors firm, and as a legal assistant at the Wandsworth and Merton Law Centre.
