Civil
Julie-Anne
covers all areas of civil work to include Personal injury; Landlord and
tenant; Licensing; Immigration; Commercial. Julie-Anne has
wide experience in European law and Human rights law having worked in
the Council of Europe, the European Commission and the European
Parliament. She has also carried out pro bono death penalty work in the
USA.
Crime
Julie-Anne covers all areas of defence work in the Magistrates Court
and Crown Court. She also prosecutes on behalf of the RSPCA, Premier Monitoring, the
Post Office and the Probation Services.

Cases
- Mahmood
Oskui & Ors (2004); As a first six pupil, Julie-Anne assisted her
joint Heads of Chambers in a 3 week money laundering trial.

Wayne Harley (2004); As a first six-pupil, Julie-Anne assisted in a
high profile case of aggravated burglary. She provided advice on the
defence of automatism.

Shaun Gray (2006); Julie-Anne was instructed as junior counsel in a 5
day confiscation hearing. The case was a landmark inheritance tax
prosecution.
